Protection against insects

Vital Protection is a very effective, leading anti-insect protection technology. It uses a unique textile impregnation treatment that provides long-term protection against a wide range of biting insects such as mosquitoes, ticks, bed bugs, sand flies and fleas. Why vital protection?

Vital Protection offers durable, long-lasting protection against insects in a safe and environmentally friendly way. It has a well-documented proven effectiveness and independent recommendations. Washing instructions

Washing clothes impregnated with HHL can be machine washed with detergent. We recommend to wash at 30C, and not to dry in the dryer. As a result, the impregnation agent stays in the fabric longer.

After +/- 50 washes it can no longer be guaranteed that the fabric is still 100% protected against insects. From 50, the HHL will slowly decrease, this does not mean that after 50 washes the fabric is NO longer protected, it is less protective than before.

How does it work?

The active ingredient of Vital Protection is permethrin - a completely safe yet highly effective chemistry. In nature, certain flowers, such as the chrysanthemum, are used to create a repellent with almost identical properties. Permethrin is a synthetic version of this naturally occurring biological protection. It is odorless and, if used properly, will not affect the environment or the garment / equipment to which it is applied. This unique chemistry, which we have successfully developed for tissue uptake, immediately repels insects when their nervous systems detect a threat. In most cases where the mosquitoes and other stinging insects feel like this remedy, they are immediately extinguished and fly out to find a more digestible victim!
